Kastoria, Nicholas tou Kasnitzi

The wall paintings of this single-aisled church with narthex are contemporary to those of Hagioi Anargyroi in the same city. As with Hagioi Anargyroi, the donor of these paintings was a local aristocrat. In this case, Nicholas bears the title magistros.
